A visionary team of Swiss designers from NAU conceived ECCO, an electric car working on solar power. Being inspired by nautilus this funny looking electric car is carbon neutral with a big solar panel on the rooftop.
Usually when gas prices start climbing, the green scene is full of so called “vaporware”. The projects like this have no chance to become real because of their ambitious concept but certainly is one of the first steps toward getting excited the people.
I am convinced that ECCO electric car is also versatile that can shift from a standard two-seat vehicle into the camper. When is it expanded into “living mode”, then get internal stairs, a kitchen, a bathroom with toilet, a large window and a sleeping loft. Its total dimension has 8 feet wide and 15 feet long.
The designers of ECCO electric car deserve congratulations for turning their idea into a functional design.
