Every day we bring you new methods and devices for charging cell phones. To keep alive a cell phone we could use the Epiphany onE Puck. It seems to be a strange kind of charger which uses the power of your hot drink but not only.
As general information, Epiphany onE Puck has a Stirling engine powered solely by heat to generate electricity. The device has two sides, a blue side for cold drinks and a red one for hot drinks. The optimal way to charge devices seems to be by using hot drinks.
The working prototype of Epiphany onE Puck has a small size not much larger than the bottom of a cup, easy to carry away and can charge iPhones, Androids, iPods and other USB-based devices.
The team has a working prototype and with the help of Kickstarter they hope to raise funds for production. In this period if you want to pick up your own Epiphany onE Puck you have to pay $115. Mass production will drop more the price.
