730 km Version: Priced at 269,800 yuan (37,700 USD), this model extends the range to 730 km. Featuring a front single engine, it provides 180 kW (241 hp) of maximum power and a robust 350 Nm peak torque.

635 km Four-Wheel Drive Version: At 299,800 yuan (41,100 USD), this four-wheel drive version covers 635 km. Equipped with dual motors at the front and rear, it delivers a combined total output power of 380 kW (510 hp) and an impressive maximum torque of 700 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

Notably, these models represent a substantial reduction in prices compared to the 2022 version, aiming to make BYD’s electric vehicles more affordable and attractive to a wider audience.

The 2023 BYD Tang EV introduces several noteworthy upgrades:

New 20-inch Wheels: The latest edition comes with stylish 20-inch wheels, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.
Disus-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System: BYD integrates the Disus-C system, providing intelligent damping for improved ride comfort and handling.

2023 Tang PHEV Models: Tang DM-i and Tang DM-p

In addition to the all-electric Tang EV, BYD has also unveiled the 2023 versions of the Tang’s Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) models, namely the Tang DM-i and Tang DM-p. These PHEV models come with price tags ranging from 249,800 yuan to 309,800 yuan, reflecting more than a 10% reduction compared to the previous generation. This strategic move aims to make hybrid technology more affordable to consumers.
