China’s Wind Power Future Projects in Xinjiang

china-wind-power-Xinjiang-summitToday China has installed wind power capacities around 30,000 MW and expects to increase its capacities to 135,000 MW in next five years in order to have 513,000 MW after next twenty years.

China will invest every year more than 25 billion Euros in wind power market.

Xinjiang region accounts 37% of the total national wind energy resources. Their aim is to reach 60,000MW wind power installed capacity till the end of 2015.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Xinjiang Municipal Government will organize the 4th Annual Advanced Wind Technology and Investment Summit 2011 which will take place on 12-13 May 2011 in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China. This summit will be attended by senior government officials, staffs from China’s wind energy, wind turbine production factories, power groups on newest industrial policies, advanced technology solutions for their future growth plants, grid integration and the most up to date reports on major China’s projects.

Trying to fostering the most productive networking environment, this 4th Annual Advanced Wind Technology and Investment Summit 2011 will put together key buyers actively seeking technological solutions for their existing and future wind power projects.
