Many people might not be remembering Zero South – a tuning company that popped up at 2008 SEMA Show.

However, it’s with bang to make its appearance felt. It has come to SEMA this year with Biodiesel Electric Hummer which is the only wacky vehicle we have come across at the show so far. This heavily modified Hummer- H1 rides at all four corners and the vehicles have been given the weird shape for it’s designed to participate in an expedition to South Pole.

The trip is going to be documented by Chris Paine and as per reports in 2008, vehicle was going to be driven by Buzz Aldrin and Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak. The film is called Drive Around the World and will be shot in 3D. The original Zero South Biodiesel Electric Hummer setup was to run on B99 fuel before Jay Leno jumped on the scene and modified the power train to enable a four cylinder diesel Volkswagen engine to acts a generator to four electric motors. Each of the electric motor will propel the individual track it is aligned with.

It will be interesting to see how it performs in extreme conditions!
