Shabtai Hirshberg has graduated the Transportation Design MFA program at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, with a thesis called “Redesigning Commercial Aircraft” and based on extensive research on the commercial aviation market.
Its project is an aircraft able to fly due a hybrid engine and to land on water. The industrial designer Shabtai Hirshberg designed the aircraft working closely together with aeronautical analysis engineers from NEVO Analysis Consulting Group to optimize structure, materials, technologies and propulsion system.
The aircraft concept incorporates a future technology, forward thinking design and a revolutionary improvement. With its design the aircraft will reduce the fuel costs by 30% using solar panels and a hybrid engine.
Hybrid airship plan are future to fill the heart earth amid the low in service cost and low speeds of usual airship and senior speed, but more classy heavier-than-air aircraft.
