Super small electric vehicle of Toyota will be sale in Japan at a price of about $12,600 informed us Green Car Congress citing the Japan publication Nikkei.
This model was unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show and will be based on Toyota’s updated COMS, the one person electric vehicle.
Toyota Auto Body division will add another seat and seatbelt in the COMS’s cargo area in order to have an electric vehicle built for two. Now Japanese government is working out details of ultra compact electric vehicles and their access to public traffic.
