The already known Swiss-made high tech aircraft has landed in the Maroccan capital. With its wingspan of a jumbo jet the aircraft weights no more than a medium sized car. The solar powered aircraft is fitted with 12,000 solar cells that feed four electric motors driving propellers.

On June 22 the aircraft made a journey of about 2500 km (1,550 mile) from Madrid to Rabat.

After such a long trip the solar powered plane is going back home to Switzerland via Madrid, but probably with an update version of a plane.
